Essayons—French for “Let Us Try”—is the motto of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It’s a phrase rooted in taking on difficult challenges, solving problems, and finding a way forward. For founder Joe Wheatley, this wasn't just a military slogan; it became a personal philosophy through years of leading complex operations in demanding environments. Today, that same spirit drives Essayons Properties. Founder Joe Wheatley brings a unique blend of combat-proven leadership and corporate operational expertise to the Arizona real estate market. After serving as a Sergeant in the Army, Joe transitioned into senior leadership roles where he specialized in building high-performing teams and optimizing complex systems. Essayons Properties was born from his desire to apply those same values—integrity, precision, and a focus on long-term relationships—to residential redevelopment. Joe lives in Arizona with his family and is dedicated to improving local communities one property at a time, ensuring that every project meets the high standard of excellence the Essayons name represents.
